As a not-for-profit, Catalyst provides intelligent and highly focused sources of fund-matching for high growth-potential innovation companies. Once accepted into the process, the individual company’s funding journey will be profiled and support will be provided to prepare the company for funding, pitches and due diligence.
The matching process is personalised to each participating company and investor. Based on your investment thesis, we will set up a select number of robust engagements for you. You will get the opportunity to view one-page summaries from each company attending and request your own meetings in the afternoon (via the events platform).
Ultimately, it is always up to the participating company and funding source to agree and finalise a deal. Catalyst can provide information based on its extensive experience, but it does not provide advice.

We recommend flying into Belfast City airport which is a short 10 minute cab ride to the event venue.
We are working with central Belfast locations to offer a preferential hotel rate and will let participants know in due course.
While you could fly out after the company meetings, the positive feedback from previous years is that the evening stay provided great value. Such as the opportunity to understand NI’s strong innovation culture and meet with fellow investors, key players in the local ecosystem and NI companies.
