Science and technology hub Catalyst has retained its Silver Diversity Mark, recognising its continued commitment to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
The accreditation is awarded by Diversity Mark, an independent panel of assessors that helps organisations navigate the diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) landscape. Reaccreditation recognises that Catalyst has sustained its progress in creating a working environment where employees of all backgrounds feel valued, safe and respected across every aspect of the company’s culture.
Catalyst first achieved Bronze status in 2020, with a focus on building a gender-diverse company culture. It progressed to Silver in 2022, extending that work into social mobility and support for the LGBTQ+ community. Retaining Silver in 2026 reflects an ongoing commitment that has continued to develop since.
Shauna McPeake, Director of People and Culture at Catalyst, said: “Retaining Silver is something we are very proud of. Reaching a standard is one thing, but holding it shows the progress is real and sustained.
“That is a testament to the efforts of our DEI employee group and the commitment of colleagues right across Catalyst. Diversity and inclusion are part of our DNA and central to our ambition to create opportunity for all, both through the culture we build within Catalyst and the impact we make through our work.”
The accreditation supports Catalyst’s vision of creating opportunity for all through world-leading innovation, with a focus on making entrepreneurship and innovation more inclusive and accessible to those who have traditionally been furthest from these opportunities.
