Generation Innovation 2024 – Invitation to Tender for Coaches

Generation Innovation requires coaches on a part-time, temporary basis to provide additional support to student teams participating in our 5 or 4-day work experience programme (depending on which location students attend). 

We are seeking to engage several coaches to work alongside the Generation Innovation project team to fulfil the following responsibilities:

• Attend and support the delivery and facilitation of the work experience programme (4 or 5 days in-person)
• Support teams of young people to achieve a solution through Design Thinking methodology
• Support teams of young people to create a prototype solution to the company challenge
• Support teams of young people in preparing a pitch to present to senior management
• Attend Coach training (4-hour session in May)
• Complete an Access NI check and Child Protection Training (delivered online)
• Assist the Generation Innovation team in other areas that may be required to achieve the targets and deliverables of the programme

Coaches will work at one (or two) of the following locations/dates:

• 11th-14th June, Derry-Londonderry, Millennium Forum
• 17th-21st June, Belfast, Catalyst Queens Road
• 24th-27th June, Dungannon, The Junction
