Catalyst announces Platinum Partnership with SSE Airtricity to drive greener energy innovation and sustainable thinking for NI’s Innovation Community  

Science and technology hub, Catalyst is proud to welcome SSE Airtricity as the latest Platinum Partner within its growing Partnership programme.

SSE Airtricity is a leading energy provider across the island of Ireland, supporting communities to make cleaner, greener choices. The partnership will be integral in supporting businesses within Catalyst’s network to drive sustainable practices and promote eco-friendly initiatives. From running events focused on the adoption of Green Technology to working with start-up companies on their journey towards net-zero emissions, the partnership will see both organisations collaborate to encourage innovation in the sustainability field wherever it may exist.

Since 2008, SSE has invested more than £500 million in the development of Northern Ireland’s sustainable energy infrastructure. With more than 350,000 home and business customers and over 300 employees in Northern Ireland, SSE Airtricity has a wealth of experience in the energy sector – feeding into a key theme of Catalyst’s strategy to achieve a Carbon Net Zero rating by 2040.
