Way to Scale is an intensive programme that will run from October 2022 to February 2023 and is open 10 to ambitious CEOs with the vision to scale.
1. 25th October 2022 – The Disciplined Entrepreneur Bootcamp with Bill Aulet
2. 18th November – programme kick-off. An opportunity to meet the Way to Scale 2023 cohort.
3. 28th November – 1st December – guaranteed participation in Catalyst’s Scale your Sales programme. This 4-day programme hosted in Belfast addresses key challenges in sales from Defining the Customer Persona and Digital Lead Generation , B2B frameworks to building out the sales team; and is open to the CEO and up to 2 team members.
4. 22nd-27th January 2023 – a week-long intensive residential Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) for CEOs at the world-leading technology and business university, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), with around 100 other international CEOs and Entrepreneurs.
5. February 2023 – four tailored strategy workshops at the Catalyst Way to Scale Workshop Series for CEOs and senior team members to work on your own business plans and implement EDP learnings.
Applications are open to highly ambitious, innovation driven CEOs with the vision to scale to £10M+ revenue, and plan to significantly grow business internationally. Your company has revenue of £500,000+, or the capital in place to grow.

A contribution of £2500 is payable by those attending. Economy air travel and accommodation will be subsidised 50% at INI rates.

The Way to Scale programme helps to close this gap by giving a select group of CEOs the chance to participate in an intensive entrepreneur development programme that spans Northern Ireland and the USA.

Day 2 and 3: B2B frameworks
The B2B Sales Workshop is designed to improve team sales performance for high-potential ventures in the rapid growth phase — by providing founders and key sales personnel with step-by-step guidance on proven team sales methods they can apply to their individual product offerings and target markets. The B2B Sales Workshop addresses key team sales process challenges that most companies face during early-stage growth, compressed into four highly-interactive working sessions over a two-day period. Through instruction, exercises, case studies, real-world anecdotes and group discussion, founders and key sales personnel will learn effective team sales practices to accelerate customer adoption and revenue growth.
Day 4: Building out the sales team
At each stage of the sales journey — from first sales hire, through small team sales, to sales for scale — the founder must leave behind old thinking and practices and adopt new practices that are necessary for sustained growth. Through instruction, real-world anecdotes and group discussion, founders will learn how to build out a sales team to drive customer adoption and revenue growth.
Follow on One to one coaching will be offered to a selection of companies participating in the 4 day programme.

From global leading tech & business university, MIT, the EDP is a week-long, high level, intensive executive education course teaching skills for high impact entrepreneurship. It is held onsite at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston for approximately 100 international CEOs. The course is aimed at highly ambitious entrepreneurs from businesses with international potential who want to learn from the best and be the best.

The Catalyst Workshop Series comprises one full day and 3 ½-day networking and practical workshops designed to cement cohort relationships, maximise peer-to-peer support and work on real challenges within each CEO’s respective company. With a focus on the practical elements of meeting company challenges between key residential elements, the programme will aim to continue to build CEO confidence, iterate on strategic business plan elements and answer question in the areas of sales, marketing, funding, operations, process, leadership and management, reinforcing EDP learning within participant’s companies.

Programme Manager
Adele holds the position of Scaling Programme Manager at Catalyst, where she oversees the delivery of our Inbound Investors, CEOs Connect, and Way 2 Scale programs alongside supervision for Basecamp Boston. These initiatives have a collective objective of expediting the growth trajectory of Northern Ireland’s top technology companies supporting them to achieve a market valuation of £100 million.
Before joining Catalyst, Adele gained valuable experience at Queen’s University Belfast, where she fulfilled various roles. These included managing a Horizon 2020 Doctoral Training program, Student Recruitment in Life and Health Sciences, and Development and Alumni Relations.
Adele holds a first class degree in Event Management from Ulster University and a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute.
