Frameworks – COVID-19 Webinar Series

The acceleration of the COVID-19 pandemic over the last number of weeks has put immense pressure on everyone. With so much uncertainty it can be paralysing for people from a personal and business point of view. At Catalyst, we want to support start-ups and scale-ups through this process. We are running a number of webinars to help companies through the various challenges that they will encounter over the coming weeks and months.

WEBINAR 1: Navigating the Coronavirus Financial Support Interventions

Recorded MARCH 27th 2020

The first webinar looked at the issue of cash flow and the financial support available. Andrew Reid, and Gary Borland, Directors at KPMG led the webinar providing an overview of the financial support that has been released to date. It looked into each of the initiatives announced to date and the type of companies that it will (and won’t) work for. The panel touched on how companies should plan in difficult times and the obligations that a company’s board has.

Speakers were joined by a stellar panel including Michael Black (Experienced CFO and Non-Exec), Aisling Byrne (Director Cleaver Fulton Rankin), Carolynn Rooney (Financial Controller @ Catalyst), Robert McCullough (Head of Business Sector Engagement @ Danske) and facilitated by John Knapton (Director Growth and Scaling @ Catalyst).
